Quartet No. 1 (2009) – string quartet

Quartet No. 1 originally started life in May 2008 but lay in a drawer until the beginning of 2009. It was finally finished in response to SPNM’s 2009 call for scores. the piece is in three movements, a central slow movement framed by two faster movements. It is also the piece I would call my first real piece.
