Matthew is the Artistic Director of The Night With…, a concert presentation charity he founded in 2018 after running his producing work under The Night With… banner.
As The Night With… he has presented over 76 concerts (including a two day festival), commissioned 20 composers and presented over 67 premieres as part of the five seasons. Performers have included United Strings of Europe, Garth Knox, Red Note Ensemble, Juice Vocal Ensemble, Ensemble Offspring, James Turnbull, Wooden Elephant, Joanna Nicholson, Ensemble 1604, Frances Cooper and Carla Rees. Premièred composers have included Linda Buckley, Matthew Grouse, Claire McCue, George Stevenson, Diana Salazar, Emily Doolittle, Timothy Cooper, Sheena Philips, Matthew Whiteside, and David Fennessy.
Since 2019, Matthew has been recording and releasing music preformed at or linked to The Night With… under the record label TNW Music. The aim of these releases is to increase the reach of the music performed, with a focus of premières and commissions, and generate an income for the charity. Currently he has been producer on eight released albums, with three more in the pipeline.
