Première of Always Ever Unknowable with text by Helene Grøn and commissioned by Cottier’s Chamber Project. The piece will be performed by Juice Vocal Ensemble, Glasgow University Chapel Choir and the Davur Juul Magnussen trombone ensemble.

It will be performed beside Arvo Pärt’s Summa, Guillaume Dufay Nuper rosarum flores, Davur Magnussen Improvisation on a Faroese melody and Kerry Andrew Lines, Loops, Bones and Stones

The piece is based on the work of Lord Kelvin and my great uncle John Stewart Bell. It uses spacial effects and the harmonies of the University bells to inform the piece.
